Chardham Yatra

Barkot to Yamunotri and Return

• Early Morning: Drive to Jankichatti (approx. 45 km).
• Trek: Start trek to Yamunotri (7 km one way) - can be done on foot, by horse, or doli at your own cost.
• Activities: Take a holy dip in the hot kund, visit the Yamunotri Temple, and cook rice in Taptkund.
• Return: Trek back to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot.
• Evening: Free time in Barkot.
• Overnight: Stay at a camp or hotel in Barkot.

Barkot to Uttarkashi

• Morning: Check out from camp/hotel and drive to Uttarkashi (approx. 94 km, 3-4 hrs).
• Sightseeing: Visit Vishwanath Temple and other local sites.
• Evening: Free time in Uttarkashi.
• Overnight: Stay at a camp or hotel in Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back

• Early Morning: Drive to Gangotri (approx. 100 km, 3-4 hrs).
• En Route: Stop at Gangnani for a holy dip in the hot kund.
• Gangotri: Take a dip in the Ganges, perform pooja, and explore the surroundings.
• Return: Drive back to Uttarkashi.
• Overnight: Stay at a camp or hotel in Uttarkashi.

 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/Sonprayag

• Early Morning: Check out and drive to Guptkashi/Sonprayag (approx. 230 km, 8-9 hrs).
• En Route: Enjoy views of the Mandakini River.
• Arrival: Check in at the hotel.
• Evening: Visit ArdhNarishwar Temple.
• Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Guptkashi/Sonprayag.

Guptkashi/Sonprayag to Kedarnath

• By Helicopter: Transfer to the helipad and fly to Kedarnath (3584 m). Carry personal medicines, warm clothes, and toiletries. Check in at the hotel, visit Kedarnath Temple, and the AdiShankaracharya Samadhi.Or By Trek: Drive to Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund, and trek 17 km to Kedarnath. After darshan, return to Sonprayag for an overnight stay. If needed, arrange another taxi or wait for the driver.
• Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Kedarnath or Sonprayag.

Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Sonprayag

• Morning: After pooja and darshan, trek or helicopter back to Sonprayag.
• Check-in: Overnight stay at a hotel/camp in Guptkashi/Sonprayag.

 Guptkashi/Sonprayag to Pipalkoti

• Morning: Drive to Pipalkoti (approx. 145 km), with a stop at Chopta for sightseeing.
• Arrival: Check in at the hotel.
• Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Pipalkoti.

Pipalkoti to Badrinath and Back

• Morning: Drive to Badrinath (approx. 78 km one way).
• Activities: Take a bath in Taptkund, visit Badrivishal Temple, and see Brahamakapal, Mana, VyasGufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati River.
• Evening: Return to Pipalkoti.
• Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Pipalkoti.

Pipalkoti to Haridwar

• Early Morning: Check out and drive back to Haridwar (approx. 235 km).
• En Route: Enjoy sightseeing as time permits.
• Arrival: Drop-off at Haridwar Harki Pauri stand/bus station/railway station.
